South Yorkshire based Frank Haslam Milan (FHM) has won an £8 million contract to deliver massive improvements to thousands of homes in Lincolnshire over the next four years.
FHM is getting ready to deliver the ongoing improvements to around 3,700 homes in West Lindsey after winning the contract from local housing provider, Acis Group.
The work will include improvements to kitchens and bathrooms, central heating installation, new doors and roofing repairs. There will also be funding available to fit aids and adaptations to help older and disabled tenants live freely in their own homes.
The refurbishments are part of a multi million improvement programme by Acis, designed to boost tenants' quality of life by improving homes beyond the Government's basic Decent Homes Standard. FHM will begin work in earnest in the next few weeks.
FHM, a Keepmoat company, based in Doncaster, is also currently working on a programme of refurbishment work on behalf of Acis in Sheffield to bring its properties up to the Government's Decent Homes Standard.
